You belong on these trails. Representation matters.
seeing someone who looks like you, moves like you, or shares your story out here widens the horizon for others to follow.
Belonging comes when you see yourself reflected in this space.

FULL MISSION STATEMENT
At The Huron 100, we believe that ultrarunning is for everyone. The Huron Trailblazers Scholarship exists to uplift and expand access for participants who have been historically underrepresented, under-resourced, or underserved within endurance sports. While our focus is on supporting people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ participants, the fund is open to anyone who faces barriers to participation.
To help reduce systemic barriers, we’re offering a dedicated pool of free race entries and free shuttle services to underrepresented participants. But beyond removing financial or logistical barriers, we want to help foster something deeper — a true sense of belonging.
We will not publicly advertise who applies for or who accepts a scholarship. We will not question or ask for information outside of the application, and we will take your answers at face value.
