Sofia Ramirez Hernandez
Artist, Educator, Athlete
Sofía (she/they) is an artist, athlete, educator, elder-in-training, and jokester based in Grand Rapids, a half hour from the shore of Lake Michigan—her greatest muse. When she isn’t sweating in the dunes, she’s likely practicing a new karaoke song, laughing with friends, sharing meals with family, napping with her cat, or drawing late into the night. Sofía believes everyone is an artist and an athlete, and that we as a society are sorely lacking a sense of play in all arenas of life. As a lover of trail and ultra running, Sofía hopes to help evolve the scene to become more accessible, so more people can grow their love for the trails and movement as she has.
